Rust Removal

They do not need to be sharpen but they have rust.

Should I have them sharpen after I clean it from them?

My first ice skating teacher kept the rust off of my blades, plus it helps to dry the blade off every time you skate. I don’t know if he used a solution to remove the rust or not, but I definitely kept them sharp because I was a competative figure skater with custom made ice skates.

I have a very old metal gear. It’s about 3 inches in diameter and covered in rust. I’m trying to clean it and make it metallic again. I’ve heard soaking ti in kerosene for a long time helps. Anything else?

soak it in transmission fluid it’ll come really clean then off to the buffing wheel ………
then clean it with a degreser sand lightly and spray it with paint , it’ll look sweet ~! ( rustoleum paint is the absolute best for anything metal)

Something was rubbing in one of the brakes. That’s fixed, but now all down the side of the car there is rust powder (NOT brake dust, actual rust). I tried some mild household cleaner, but it did *nothing*. I’ve considered the high power sprayer at the do-it-yourself carwash, but we aren’t having many days above freezing here (NW Ohio).

I left a can of shaving foam on the soap ledge at the back of my ceramic bathroom sink. There is now a circle of rust there. I have tried scrubbing it off with bathroom cleaner, but it wont go. How can I get rid of it?
