there is a 1974 Dougie charger down the road from me, that has been sitting in a drive way for 3 years. the drive way is cemented so its not like its been sitting in a Field. all 4 tires are shot but that’s not my problem. it has NO body damage, Little small rust spots here and there but that too is not a problem. even the engine is not my problem. the main problem, which makes me afraid to pay the 1500 to buy it, is the under side. it has rust up the a**. not really deep, but covering most of every thing. funny the floor boards are strong. but the rust makes me feel as if it fall apart. i know car like this are rare and i know i have to put a ton of money in to it to make it right, but is it worth it, CAN THERE BE A WAY TO REMOVE MOST THE RUST, without canging all the parts!!!!!!PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!
Media blasting will remove the rust, then apply a coat of undercoating to prevent any more rust.
