How Do I Clean Rust Off Ceramic?

by admin on August 26, 2010

I left a can of shaving foam on the soap ledge at the back of my ceramic bathroom sink. There is now a circle of rust there. I have tried scrubbing it off with bathroom cleaner, but it wont go. How can I get rid of it?

try peroxide

Cillit Bang Power Cleaner Grime & Lime Liquid
Now you can have all of the power of the Cillit Bang Power Cleaner Grime & Lime Liquid in a handy toggle squirt bottle. Like Cillit Bang Power Cleaner Grime and Lime trigger, it easily tackles tough stains like limescale, rust, soap scum and grimy dirt. The handy squirt bottle makes it ideal for cleaning larger surfaces such as tiles and baths, more heavy-duty stains found in the outdoors or difficult to reach places like toilet bowls. It has a pleasant fresh fragrance and leaves surfaces clean and looking like new.

Go to KMart and buy "The Works" It’s a cleaning product and I use it on my old bath tub that the enamel is wearing off and rust from the cast iron underneath comes thru. It keeps my tub clean of rust and it should remove the rust from tile.
