Full Disclosure, I work for this company but its a very exciting product/methodology:
Using proper sealants on the exposed re-bar and surface of concrete deck (very viscous material that penetrates concrete) we can stop all rebar corrosion for 10 years guaranteed and an additional 10 years guaranteed if retreated after 10 years. Stopping the rebar corrosion will stop MOST ALL of the concrete spalling, but all presently spalled/chipped concrete can be replaced with a proprietary epoxy formula laid into a pultruded fiberglass mold that is stronger and longer lasting than concrete and will not spall again. We mainly do this procedure on Balcony edges at the moment but it may be applicable to your concrete roof application. Check out our website at www.edgegard.com, it may at least give you some IDEAS about how to approach this problem. Regards, – Gregg Radell
