Rust removal: Which way works best for you?

Rust is not just terrible to look at. Keeping rusty materials in your home makes you closer to several health risks. Tetanus is a kind of complication you can get if rusty particles which (which are Tetanus carriers) get into skin cuts or wounds. This can be very dangerous especially when not immediately attended to. Because of the dangers of rust, we have suggested two rust removal methods below – the old way and the new way. Feel free to browse through it then decide which method will work best for you.

The old way

The old rust removal procedure makes use of acids to effectively remove rust. Most oldies would use mild acids like citric acid from lemon juice of acetic acid from white vinegar to solve the rust problem. If you feel that the old way is more convenient, simply pour an ample amount of acid on a clean sponge then rub the rusted area. Repeat this process over and over again until rust spots become invisible. Rinse thoroughly using clean water afterwards.

The new method

The new method uses readily available cleaners. These are cleaners which are made readily available in your favorite supermarkets. The current fad on green cleaning; however, has caused natural cleaning products to be recognized more than any other commercial cleaner with high chemical content in the market. Unlike conventional commercial cleaners, natural cleaners have not only been proven to be effective. They have also been proven to be harmless and safe to humans, to pets and even more importantly today, to the environment. As we all know, commercial cleaners contain toxins which could cause a wide range of diseases. The most common of which being respiratory problems, dermatological problems and food poisoning. Natural products are safe for everybody’s use. Simply pour an amount of your liquid cleaner into a clean cloth then rub it on the affected area. For best results, you can also use wire brushes in lieu of the cloth.

What are you waiting for? There are plenty of rust removal methods out there. Whichever way you want to use, always make sure that you execute the right cleaning practices and that you use the best cleaning products to achieve the best results.
