Rust-free guitar: It’s time to serenade the love of your life
“I need some space.” Cliché. But true enough, your sweetheart needs your assurance every once in a while. And if you’re on a tight budget and making a dinner reservation in the city’s lavish restaurants seem quite
out of your option, relax. There are several other ways to make your way to her heart without having to spend a single penny - serenade her! All you need is your guitar and a little vocalization. However, before dunning on your John Mayer look, make sure that your guitar is free from rust so stays in tune while your doing your solo concert. Here are first-class rust stain removal tips for your guitar.
1. Note that prevention remains to be better than cure. To prevent your rust from rusting, make sure that you store in its proper case all the time. This will keep it safe from excessive moisture. Note; however, that you need to take it out at least once a week. Do a brief tune-up and put it back into its case. Store in a dry environment. Make sure that there are no water drippings. This can make your strums sound awful.
2. If you were one of the unlucky ones who got their guitars infected with rust, all you need to do is pick only valuable rust removal products. If it does not come in a spray bottle, use a paper towel or a dry clean cloth when applying the solution. Disassemble the strings then wipe each string thoroughly until the rust are finally out of your sight.
3. Inspect your guitars regularly. It is highly recommended that you act on rust problems in the soonest possible time. Allowing it to accumulate and stay longer will require a more difficult and complicated removal process. In other cases, you might even need to replace not just your guitar strings but even worse, your guitar.
4. In choosing your rust remover, it is highly advised that you choose only reputable green cleaning products . Some commercial cleaners contain toxins which can be harmful not just to your guitar and its sound quality but even worse, to you, your family, your pets and even the environment.
See how easy removing rust from your guitar can be? Now it’s time to do a little vocalization. Good luck!
