mmmm, I would think …
mmmm, I would think repaint was better in this case.(a pic to phillips logo to be exactly reproduced when repainted.Besides that..in my experience .paint its the better protection for metal. Just consider sections in wich paint is ok,are virtually intact 80 years later.

hey i need some advice. i just bought a huffy liquidator 3 and it is a 3 speed probably mid 60s or early to mid 70s bike. it is red with a white bananqa seat and on the seat and fenders, there is like a black racing stripe going down them. and the three speed is also an internal hub i need to knw the value and if it is rare or not thnx!

I used Turtle …
I used Turtle liquid wax on mine. Removed most of the rust & restored the gloss, let dry, & polished with clean dry cloth. More rust came off & the wax protected the metal even in the rain.
