What are the best three (3) corrosion protection methods that are used to protect a metal/alloy used in a marine structure?

Galvanisation, plating or adding some other metals which are more electropositive than ur metal

sacrification protection metal, using magnesium.
The Mg will become coroted, and save those protected metal.

primer, paint, and sealant, plastic coating? heavy patrolium coating?

1. Pick the right type of metal in the first place. No this isn’t always SS316.
2. Coatings – be they galvanization, paint, polymer coating, olefin covering or something else.
3. Anodic protection – pump a charge through the metal so that the corrosion reaaction can’t happen.

Use all these and you shouldn’t need anything funkier.
